Future Show and Ep

As Spring Break 2010 is coming to an end, we've been swimming around in new songs and material all in preparation for what will be our last show of the of the school year show with the highly acclaimed "Soul Rebels" at Cafe Prytania on the 24th.
Lately, we've been chasing down this "Cosmic American Music," and deciding on an Ep title. "The Crazy Hearts Ep" is scheduled to be recorded in a studio tucked tightly away in the Hollywood hills this May/June.

Cheers,

D

Big E-Z Magazine Interview by Josh Poulten with Duz

Q-What's songwriting like for you?

Haha, it's like digging a hole into hell! Sometimes it gets dark. I write what I remember on the way down, you know?

Just a combintation of the best and worst times. Nobody's gonna write your story for you.

Q-If you could do one thing before you died without any consequence what would it be?

Rob a Bank. You could most likely find me at a good old fashioned heist with some other rough necks.

Q-What do you like most about the south?

Alcohol, the Saints and Food. In that order.

Q-What do you do on your spare time?

Aside from all this music in LA you can find me and my friends getting high off mexican food or climbing through the canyons. I love partying but an overwhelming number of "Palisidian pre-madonnas" worried about the clothes for tomorrow's party before they've even arrived for tonight's party sadly exists at home in mass numbers. I thank god I moved. In New Orleans you can most likely find any of us at the bar or watching music with friends.

Q-What are COYOTES plans for the summer?

Another long sweaty summer of writing and recording. Shows off sunset..there's been a lot of talk about Norcal shows, a music video being shot and an ep release by Fall..

The Beginning

After breakfast in Topanga, climbing up hills, and shuffling around harmonies in the backseat of a car on the way to an evening in Laurel Canyon, it was the beginning of a long hot summer of writing and traveling in a place I'm proud to call home, Los Angeles.
In the fall I opened up the next chapter of this story with sleepless nights and many more miles on the track down south in a city known for its own parties, food, language, architecture, music and even its own funerals, New Orleans.

All my love to the friends and family that have been a part of the stories, songs and long nights.
